Sunday Service
10am All Saints
This is what defines us as a community: we meet once a week to celebrate the Eucharist. Sunday is the day when the resurrection of Jesus happened and so for Christians, Sunday became the first marking of the dawn of a renewed world. Many of the early Christians were also Jewish and therefore remembered the Sabbath (Saturday). In the Fourth Century, the Roman emperor Constantine declared Sunday a day of rest for the whole empire in honour of Christ's resurrection. As God rested on the seventh day after creating the world in Genesis, we are invited to rest on Sunday - the Lord's Day.
Sunday at All Saints
We gather together and worship following the High Anglican tradition. This aims to be solemn, reverent, and transcendent, seeking to mirror the worship of heaven and draw us all into the mystery of God.
